Overview

In the first half of 2025, Singapore’s train lines carried more daily rides than ever before. Our local trains remain one of

the most relied-upon ways for Singaporeans to get around. But behind every smooth journey lies the hands keeping it on track: the Train Operators.

What really happens behind the glass of the passenger service centre? How do operators stay sharp under pressure, and what ensures they can keep delivering seamless rides to millions every day?

Opportunity

Opportunity

With a new train line scheduled to launch in 2027, this was the perfect moment to examine the cracks in the current system and reimagine how operators could be better supported through the new interface design.
